Been feeling a little bit moody these last few weeks...feels like screaming, crying and running to break away...huh!

The Beach

Last Sunday, 27th December 2009, we went to Bagan Lalang to find a place to have our lunch. Since we have seen the signboard to Bagan Lalang everyday on the way back from work, and since we have nothing planned to do last weekend, so I brought the idea to hubby and we was up to it. We didn’t planned to take a swim at the beach whatsoever..our intention was just to find a place to have our lunch.

However, once we were there, our little one got so excited and kept saying ‘wow!’ and let out excited scream every now and then when she saw the crowd at the beach. It was a struggle to get her sit at the table while we were eating...she kept wanting to see the different kind of kites being sold nearby. Once we had our lunch, we took a stroll along the beach....but our little one was so excited when she saw 2 of her favourite things...water and the sand! ..And, the rest is history..hahaha...

She was running straight to the water...luckily I brought her spare t-shirt along.. I just let her play with the waves and the sand with her granny, who wanted to soak her feet in the salty water. She has no fear of the water whatsoever.. I didn’t let her go deeper into the sea though as the water is not so clean to me. She just had a blast. She played with the waves, the sand and enjoy watching the kites.

She took a break from the water and the sand for awhile..and takes her time enjoying the kites being flown nearby. And then..back to the sand...hehehe

Yesterday, the first day of 2010, it is the beginning of yet another new year. We went to Port Dickson for picnic. It is the second time icha went to the beach. This time around, we were more prepared..I brought icha's swimming suit..and bought her a duck float and sand castle's equipments..heheh..she just loved it. She is one brave little girl..she just hanged on to the float calmly when I took he deeper into the water, i sense no fear in her...she was just enjoying the waves, and sometimes she would tried to turn her body and then try to swim..oh dear..i’m just so proud of her..hahah..when she was tired..she just rest her head on the float while the waves swayed her around... too bad i left my camera..huhuhh. We spent 3 hours on the beach and then went home...and dozed off...zzzz....

How Time Flies

She is just growing so fast...she is 1 year and 9 months old now...getting even more smarter and wiser..always on the run..she is counting in english now...heheh..in the process of building words..

She's Walking!

It's been a while now...I find it difficult to find free time to update this blog nowadays. It would have been easier if I was granted with internet access at work, but nope, I still don't have the privilege. There's still a bunch of us, the new staff that still waiting for the approval of our internet connection. But.. I doubt it will be granted in near future. hmmm...oh well!

Anyway, Alyssa is walking now! She started slowly when she turned 14 months..but at 15 months and a half, she managed to walk on her own. So, she’s walking everywhere now..terkedek-kedek...hehehe..she is just so cute! I am so proud of her. And she started to talk too...in her own language of course! But there are some real words that she can pronounce such as lorry..daddy...and most of the times the words from her favourite Mickey Mouse show..such as ‘cheers’,’ i know’,’ idea’ and so on.. She is just one bright little person.

Apart from that, she is also brilliant at mimicking moves and any sounds she hears..such as sneeze, ambulance and police car sound, and anything..you just name it..heheh.

She is not that afraid to people now..she gets along with her neighbour friends just fine.. she’s very friendly now, she would talk to new people she met hehehe..but still, she refuses to let certain people such as her uncle to touch or hold her..heheh..it’s good in a way. I like her to have that sense of boundaries even though she has the confidence to socialize.

But still my main concern for Alyssa is her milk intake. She still refuses formula milk! No milk at all during day time while I'm at work...I can't pump as well because the milk production has lessen significantly. And she also refuse to eat dairy product such as cheese or yogurt..fenin! Luckily she loves to eat her porridge and anything else.

One more thing, her teeth are coming out at 14 months! Heheh i have been waiting for that moment since like...forever! Two of her upper front teeth are the first to show. It is follow by another two teeth at each side of the first teeth. Two of her bottom teeth are out next...so total teeth she has currently is 6. But it is a struggle to brush her teeth every day. I bought he a baby toothbrush..but she refused to use it..she would take my tooth brush instead and put into her mouth..heheh..I purposely brush my teeth in front of her every time I can so that she knows that brushing teeth is compulsory. But I guess until she’s big enough to understand, I will still have to forcedly brush her teeth using my fingers...hehehe

Happy birthday, Icha!!!

Icha is still having chicken pox...so she's wearing pretty little dress her grandparent bought her from Mekah..with white spots everywhere to cover her chicken pox..hehehe.. We didn't throw a birthday party for her..but just planning to have a kenduri doa selamat next week at her grandparent's house.

Alyssa is currently is crazy about stairs!! she still can't walk yet..so she would crawled everywhere..and she just loves crawling up to the stairs. It's tiring for for us but I would just let her be...thinking it would be great for her developement. All we, grown up have to do is just watch her, not letting her falling down the stairs.. We had a pretty busy day today..both me and hubby took our day off to spend time with Icha. The whole day was pack...with my agenda mostly...and the birthday girl just got to tag along..muahahah.. first thing in the morning we sent my car for service..and then we brought Icha to clinic for her 1 year old's jab...and then we went to shopping mall..where we got the birthday cake and Icha get to take her first ride on one of those toys...after that we picked up my car..and then we head home...the cutting cake ceremony was at night..it was just the 4 of us..me, hubby, Icha's granny and the birthday gal! Pox Virus?

Alyssa is infected by Pox Virus! According to the peadetrician, it's close to Chicken Pox. Oh dear! Started as a small bump on her bum, she kept scratching it, and it was getting bigger. At first we thought it was just a normal rare itchiness rashes, brought Icha to clinic and the doctor prescribe a cream.

Fever

Alyssa demam hari ni. Actually semalam dia dah start selsema..runny nose. Went to clinic at night when we saw that she had difficulty to sleep. Doctor checked her temperature and said it was quite high, close to fever. She prescribed Alyssa with cold & fever medicine. Also another tiny bottlo of medication which I have to drop it into her nostrill twice a day, I suppose it is to reduce blockage.

And this morning, badan dia dah start panas, merengek saja dari malam. Asyik gosok hidung dia yg keluar hingus..tak selesa agaknya. Gave her medication after her morning feed. Mak aii!!1 meraung anakku sorang ni takut nak makan ubat. Mencabar jugalah tgh2 nangis tu, masukkan jugak ubat guna syringe tu.. takut gak dia tersedak, tapi..hurmm...terpaksa jugak la.. Lepas makan ubat, dia tidur..efek ubat demam tu agaknya.

Tengah hari keadaan dia agak ok. anasnya pun agak kebah...cuma hingus tu masih ada...Malam, sekali lagi bagi ubat...terjerit2 nangis...kesian budak kecik nih... tak pernah2 demam... mungkin nak tumbuh gigi kot... coz dah 10 bulan lebih ni masih tak tumbuh2 lagi gigi dia. Air liurnya asyik meleleh jer... tapi bil ku tgk gusi dia, takde gigi keluar lagi...maybe in a few days...

Selsema mungkin dpt dari aku atau nenek dia..dah 2-3 hari kami kena selsema... dah cuba mcm2 utk elak dia dijangkiti tp obviously tak berjaya. Just hope she'll be ok by tomorrow..coz I'll be working and won't be there by her side if she needs me. And I can't take any leave :( . Get well soon, sayang..
